'A November afternoon, near Kylesku, Sutherland', Acrylic & Pastel, 2019, 76 x 23cm, Ref: 428 Price: £1250 Region: North West Highlands About this painting Back in 2017 I started work on a large-scale audio-visual piece, based on a walk we did along the shores of the sea lock at Kylesku in Sutherland. I had to re-visit the location on several occasions in order to make the sound recordings. One of these trips was in November 2018 and the weather was beautiful with clear skies and little wind. This painting tries to capture something of the fabulous late autumn colours that day.
