It was very cold and all the hills and mountains were covered in snow. As we made our way across the high ground on the road between Ullapool and Loch Assynt the snow was down to the road side and in the fading light of late afternoon the Coigach landscape looked just spectacular. This little painting tries to capture something of the scene.
